Breene captured her face in both hands and looked deep into her shimmering eyes. Simone was an amazingly beautiful woman. Inside and out.

And he almost couldn't believe that this precious, wonderful female was standing in front of him, asking him to kiss her.

Simone had gone through so much. She had suffered and been hurt very deeply. Yet she found the strength and courage to get back on her feet and face her fears and her past. Breene could hear the pain in her voice when she spoke of her abuse, but she didn't shy away and hide her past from them.

Simone had opened up her heart and her wounds for Lester's sake. She wanted to show him that she understood completely because she too had been a victim. She wanted to encourage Lester and show him that it was entirely possible to heal and become strong again.

Breene swore that he would never let anyone hurt Simone ever again. She would only know happiness from now on. She was a treasure, a treasure that had taken him a lifetime to find.

Breene sucked in a breath and said hoarsely, “If I kiss you, Simone, I won't be able to stop.”

“Then don't stop. I don't want you to stop,” she whispered.

Breene kept looking into her eyes as he leaned in. Her expressive, green eyes widened slightly as he pressed his lips softly against hers. He wanted to kiss her very slowly, to savor every detail of their first kiss.

The instant their lips touched, Simone let out a whimper and he felt her quiver in his arms. Her eyelids fluttered shut and her nails dug into his broad shoulders for support.

He could hear her quickening heartbeats and her swallowed moan of pleasure. The scent of her arousal intoxicated and inflamed him, and he could feel his restraint and control slipping as he clasped her to him. God, she was so sweet and hot, and he wanted more.

Breene growled as he deepened the kiss. He swept his tongue over her soft, plump lips, coaxing her to open for him.

Simone parted her lips and their tongues tangled in a seductive dance. Her breasts were pressing against his chest, and he could feel her erect nipples pushing against her bra, begging for his touch.

Her body was so soft and lush, and he knew that he would never ever get enough of her.
